It’s a “who pays first and signs on the line” system. We can give you a provisional booking by email/telephone, but it’s only written in pencil until you pay in full. To get a confirmed booking (in ink), you can arrange things:
- Quickly, at the clubhouse with cash or credit cards.
- Slowly, by email and bank transfer. You must start the process at least 6 weeks before your activity. If your preferred dates are available, we will email a provisional booking and “hold” it for 14 days while the money transfers (account details will be sent with the relevant terms & conditions). The booking will only be confirmed if/when you tell us the money has arrived, otherwise it may be cancelled.
The small print
We have clear contracts for all our services; you’ll be given a copy to sign when you offer to pay. Read it carefully. Full terms and conditions are available on request, but in summary: payments are not refundable; you’re responsible for your own actions; you must pay for any damage to the bike and/or safety equipment (insurance is available); you must pay for medical services; you must respect the laws and customs of Nepal; the Club has authority to repossess our bikes if you are a danger to yourself/others or if you’re abusing our bikes. It’s all sensible stuff, but our clients prefer to understand the deal before setting off. |
