INTRODUCTION

In January, Prabin Shrestha of Hearts & Tears MC is leading an award winning line-up of adventure seekers as he takes you on a journey through the head-wobbling wonders of Rajasthan India. Prabin (a former Kollywood star in Kathmandu), will take you deep into his world of marble palaces, sari draped beauties, camel caravans, and exotic wonders whilst you ride upon the Maharaja’s personal fleet of Royal Enfield Bullet 500’s.

It really is The Very Best Exotic Motorcycle Tour we have ever heard of.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive to Delhi

Meet your fellow riders and support crew at the hotel lobby for a 5pm briefing. First stop is the garage where you’ll get a chance to throw a leg over your trusty stead as the excitements builds for the first day of riding tomorrow.

Day 2 - Delhi to Agra

We rise early to beat the Delhi traffic and head south-east to one of the world’s greatest wonders – the mighty Taj Mahal.  After freshening up we’ll head to the Taj Mahal to introduce ourselves and wander the surrounds as the sun sets on this fabled masterpiece.

Day 3 - Agra to Jaipur

After a morning coffee we’ll make our way out of Agra and head west towards Jaipur. Enroute we’ll stop in at an incredible Durbar (centre square) made by King Akbaz, who somewhat surprisingly, is a distant relative of our head mechanic Surya.

Day 4 - Jaipur

Today’s it’s time to rest your buttocks and stretch your legs with a locally guided tour around Jaipur. On the tour you can expect to see Jantar Mantar, Amer Fort, and the City Palace, amongst other incredible historical sights.

Day 5 - Jaipur to Udaipur

Today is one of the longest rides of the trip covering nearly 400km across Rajasthan. We’ll be heading south-west to the city of lakes – romantic Udaipur. It is described as being similar to the terrain in Nepal.

Day 6 - Udaipur and monsoon palace

Today we ride out to the incredible Monsoon Palace which was built to monitor the movement of clouds in an effort to predict rainfall. It also skylarks as a summer resort which (to be honest) is why Prabin likes it.

Day 7 - Udaipur to Jodhpur

Today we ride north west and enter the Thar Desert enroute to the historical city of Jodhpur. We are edging our way closer to Pakistan and the Indus Valley. There is a subtle (yet distinctive) movement in the design of the various temples we pass as the landscape transforms.

Day 8 - Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

Now the real desert begins! Sand dunes line to road as we ride west to Jaisalmer. You’ll feel like Indian Jones or the heroic archeologist from the Mummy Returns (what’s his name??) as the wind picks up and sand monsters fill your rear view mirror.

Day 9 - Jaisalmer

Today we will have some fun riding through the desert and see what our steads can handle! After a lunch of some traditional foods we prepare to spend the night camping in the Rajasthan desert amongst the endless stars that fill the deep mystical skies.

Day 10 - Jaisalmer departure

Today is the final day of the tour. The trip concludes back in central Jaisalmer after we return from the sand dunes. Our guests (now family) can either transfer back to Delhi to start their trip home or they can travel onwards from Jaisalmer.
