INTRODUCTION

If you came to Nepal to see mountains, this is the tour for you! Ride up to a huge 4000m to the sacred Hindu city of Muktinath where century old temples are carved into the hillside, eagles soar overhead, and glacial rivers wind their way through snow-capped peaks.

This tour is not for the faint hearted as we ride through a variety of terrains. You will experience water crossings, rocky ascents, suspension bridges, and the occasional bit of sand. If the sound of that makes you excited - then this is the tour for you!

We run this tour on both the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the 250cc enduro. We don't typically mix bikes and therefore run separate tours. Both tours follow the same overall route, but on the enduros we are able to take more remote and difficult trails as compared to the Himalayan.

Day 3 - Baglung to Lete

Today we start our vertical climb into the Himalayas. Ride from 1000m up to nearly 3000m and see the landscape change as we bid farewell to the jungles below and enter the land of 8000+ peaks.

Day 4 - Lete to Kagbeni

Today we enter the moonscape - a region where little vegetation grows, the rivers run more wild, and glaciers line your riding vista. We sleep in Kagbeni - an incredible Tibetan village where mountain goats are herded through cobblestone streets.

Day 5 - Kagbeni to Marpha via Muktinath

Today we reach our highest point - Muktinath, 4000m! We take the back route via an ancient Buddhist monastery to reach our destination. Enjoy a yak steak for lunch before descending down to Marpha - a incredibly beautiful Thakali village.

Day 6 - Marpha to Tatopani
