ITINERARY

Day 1 - Welcome to Pokhara

Relax by the lake and take in the beautiful surrounds by day. Meet your riding team, your trusty steed, and tour briefing by night. Tomorrow we ride!

Day 2 - Tour prologue!

Today we introduce you to riding in Nepal! We take you around Pokhara to all the must-see sights. We ride on varied terrain to get you familiar with what's to come in the following days! Spend the night at Deurali Resort with incredible sunrise views.

Day 3 - Deurali to Bandipur via the road less travelled

Set-off from Pokhara and head east following the Seti River and some quiet village roads. Continue further east before climbing up to the Indo-Tibetan trade station of Bandipur. The village is absolutely stunning and has been preserved to reflect the Newari style of architecture. Sleep at the incredible Old Inn.

Day 4 - Bandipur to Nuwakot

After a morning stroll through the village, we continue our journey east before veering north and climbing towards the Tibetan border. We follow the Trisuli River and stop for the night at the old king's fortress of Nuwakot.

Day 5 - Nuwakot to Tibetan border

Today is epic. We ride further north with switchback after switchback and climb up to the Tibetan Border. It is an unofficial border crossing that is heavily patrolled but the photos are great ;). After lunch we descend back to the Famous Farm at Nuwakot – a stunning farmhouse with mountain views and superb hospitality.

Day 6 - Nuwakot to Daman

After breakfast we ride south and take the road to Daman which can only be described as motorcycle nirvana. The roads are quiet with little traffic, there are corners after corner, the views are mind-blowing, and the destination will leave you jaw dropping. From Daman (at nearly 2600m), you have views of the Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Langtang range, and also Mt Everest!

Day 7 - Daman to Chitwan

After yesterday’s vertical climb, it’s now time to descend! We ride from 2600m down to only 300m in about 40km with switchback after switchback. After lunch we ride west along the highway zigzagging our way through Tata trucks and buses to Chitwan NP – Nepal’s oldest national park that was once a hunting reserve for the King of Nepal.

Day 8 - Chitwan Jungle Ride

Unwind and absorb the safari vibe. Explore the national park to spot rhinoceros, deer, sloth bear, various monkeys, crocodiles and if you're lucky, the Bengal Tiger. In the afternoon we ride to some interesting local Tharu villages and a local lake. In the evening get your groove on at a local culture show.

Day 9 - Chitwan to Tansen

We hit the main East-West highway once again and cruise further west. After lunch we reach the township of Butwal before climbing north to the hillside town of Tansen. From Tansen we ride further west to our best-kept hidden secret – a small organic farm nestled in a quiet valley that is just perfect. The hospitality, rustic charms, and food are absolutely superb.

Day 10 - Tansen to Pokhara

Today we ride north along the ‘dragon’s tail’ towards Pokhara. There is not one straight stretch of road as we pass through lush valleys and climb over mountain passes. It's probably the best road riding in Nepal and we save it for the final day. As the mountains grow in size, it means our destination is closing in......Pokhara! You've made it!
