INTRODUCTION
Come with us on a journey into Tibet - one of the most majestic and controversial destinations on earth. Very few people have been fortunate enough to visit Tibet and experience the beauty and spirituality of the Tibetan people which resonates throughout the land.

There are countless highlights in this trip including the awe-inspiring Potala Palace in Lhasa, the numerous monasteries dotted on the landscape, the unbelievably well maintained roads that make you feel like you're at the Philip Island GP. But beyond doubt the highlight of the trip is getting up close and personal to Everest Base Camp sitting at 5200m.
It's motorcycle heaven...or is it nirvana over there?

Day 1 - Arrive to Lhasa (3650m)
Arrive in Lhasa and take your first steps onto the Tibetan Plateau. After airport pickup and transfer to the hotel, the day is dedicated to rest and acclimatization at altitude. Spend the afternoon soaking in the atmosphere of this remarkable city, with prayer flags, monasteries, and daily life.

Day 2 - Potala Palace & bike preparation
Today we explore Lhasa’s spiritual heart with a guided visit to the iconic Potala Palace, a masterpiece of Tibetan architecture and culture. In the afternoon, we prepare the motorcycles, check equipment, and hold a detailed ride briefing to ensure everyone is comfortable and ready for the journey ahead.

Day 3 - Lhasa to Basum Lake (3480m)
We begin riding east out of Lhasa, descending slightly into greener valleys and forested terrain. The road winds through rivers and mountains before reaching the stunning turquoise waters of Basum Lake, sitting at around 3,480 m, offering a peaceful first overnight on the road.

Day 4 - Basum Lake to Nyingtri via Nading (3000m)
Today’s ride flows through lush landscapes and river valleys, passing the dramatic Nading Waterfall. We descend further to Nyingtri, at approximately 3,000 m, often considered one of Tibet’s most pleasant regions due to its lower altitude and greener environment.

Day 5 - Nyingtri to Lang Town (3500m - 3700m)
Leaving Nyingtri, we climb back into higher plateau terrain, riding quiet roads through traditional villages and expansive valleys. The sense of remoteness grows as we reach Lang Town, once again above 3,500 m, deep in rural Tibet.

Day 6 - Lang Town to Shannan (3550m)
We ride west toward Shannan, the cradle of Tibetan civilization, passing through Gyatsa Town and wide open valleys. The day delivers classic plateau riding before reaching Shannan at around 3,550 m.

Day 7 - Shannan to Gyatse via Yamdrok Lake
A highlight of the tour. We climb the spectacular Kambala Pass (4,794 m), where panoramic views reveal the deep-blue waters of Yamdrok Lake (≈4,440 m) far below. After riding alongside the lake, we continue to Gyantse, situated at approximately 3,950 m.

Day 8 - Gyatse to Shegar (4300m)
From Gyantse, the ride heads west across vast, open landscapes framed by distant Himalayan peaks. Altitude steadily increases as we reach Shegar, sitting at around 4,300 m, a key staging point for the Everest region.

Day 9 - Shegar to Everest Base Camp (5200m)
An iconic and emotional day as we ride toward Everest Base Camp (North Face) at approximately 5,200 m. The north face of Everest dominates the skyline. We spend the night at Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world, at around 4,980 m, beneath Everest’s immense presence.

Day 10 - EBC to Shigatse (3840m)
After sunrise views of Everest, we descend from extreme altitude, retracing dramatic mountain roads before continuing toward Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city, located at approximately 3,840 m.

Day 11 - Shigatse to Lhasa (3650m)
The final riding day follows smooth scenic highways along the Brahmaputra River back to Lhasa. A relaxed but rewarding ride, reflecting on the journey across the Tibetan Plateau and the roof of the world.

Day 12 - Departure Day
After breakfast, transfers are arranged for departure. The journey ends, but memories of high passes, sacred lakes, and riding to Everest Base Camp at over 5,000 meters will last a lifetime.
